Career
Born on October 16, 1970 in Nagano City, Nagano Prefecture. Graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Tokyo in 1998 after attending Nakane Elementary School in Meguro Ward, Tokyo, Meguro 11th Junior High School, and Soka High School. He joined Citibank and was engaged in risk management, development and sales of derivative products, and closing the private banking division. Moved to Barcelona, Spain in 2006, and earned a master's degree in business administration from Jesus Business School in 2006. After returning to Japan, he worked as a management consultant at Booz & Company Co., Ltd., a strategic consulting firm, and Sigmaxis Co., Ltd., supporting corporate revitalization, new business creation, and overseas expansion. After his election, he served as a political official for the Minister of Economy, Trade, Industry, and Reconstruction, working on strengthening industrial competitiveness and drafting energy policy, and as Deputy Minister of Reconstruction, he was in charge of the reconstruction of Fukushima Prefecture from the Great East Japan Earthquake. Other positions include Chief of the Sansinin Responsibility Committee, etc.
