Career

Born on April 24, 1980, from Miyazaki Prefecture. After studying at the Kyoto University Faculty of Law and the Kobe University Graduate School of Law, he attended the University of Tokyo Law School and passed the bar exam. He joined the Ministry of Labor in 2008, was seconded to the Kumamoto Prefectural Office, was in charge of human resources and finance at the Ministry of Labor, and then was appointed to the Kanagawa Prefectural Office in 2013. He served as Director of the International Tourism Division, Director of the Municipality Division, Director of the Tourism Department, Future Creation Director/Advisor, Director (Future Promotion, Policy Promotion, Assistant to the Governor, etc.), Director of the Industrial and Labor Bureau, and was involved in a wide range of policy formulation including tourism promotion, industrial revitalization, digital, pre-byou improvement, and coronavirus countermeasures. He ran as a candidate from Kanagawa prefecture's selected ward in the 27th regular election for members of the House of Councillors, held in 2020, and won the election. In his private life, he launched the Yonnana Association, which promotes exchanges between local government officials and central bureaucrats across the country, and has built a platform for regional revitalization with over 6,000 people in 1,200 local governments.
