Career

Born on July 5, 1963 in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture. Spent his childhood in Kumamoto City, Kumamoto Prefecture and Higashikurume City, Tokyo. Graduated from Kaijo High School and Chuo University Faculty of Letters. In 1993, he made his debut as a manga artist by winning the Jury's Special Award at the 50th Weekly Shonen Magazine Newcomer Manga Award.
