Career

Born on September 9, 1966 in Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture. Otsu City Ogi Elementary School, Katata Junior High School, and Shiga Prefectural Zeze High School in March 1985. March 1992: Completed the Department of Physics and Engineering, Kyoto University. Imperial College Graduate School in November 2002. Joined the Ministry of International Trade and Industry in April 1992. June 2009: Deputy Director of JETRO Houston Center. In February 2014, Counselor Uchiaki (Japan Economic Revitalization Headquarters Secretariat) retired. Candidate for Shiga prefecture gubernatorial election in 2014. In November 2014, he became a specially appointed professor at the National University Corporation Tokyo Institute of Technology.
