Career

Born in Kumamoto Prefecture on February 25, 1962. After studying in the livestock department of Kumamoto Agricultural High School, he started farming in 1986. President of the agricultural production corporation (paddy rice and livestock management). Received the Excellence Award (Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Award) in the creative development category of the Kumamoto Prefecture Agricultural Contest. Chairman of the National Agricultural Cooperative Youth Organization Council in 2005. After serving as a director of the Kamimashiki Agricultural Cooperative Association, he became the representative director and chairman of the association in 2014. Served as advisor to the Kumamoto Prefecture Agricultural Cooperative Central Association and director of the Kumamoto Prefecture Economic and Agricultural Cooperative Federation. Elected in the 24th House of Councilors election in 2016 〇 Former Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Political Officer 〇Currently appointed Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Committee Chairman (Appointed on December 18, 2020)
