Born in Tokyo on December 20, 1976. Graduated from Aoyama Gakuin University's Department of International Political Science and Economics in 1999. After qualifying as a US certified public accountant, joined Ernst & Young ShinNihon Audit Corporation. Responsible for auditing multinational companies and improving operational efficiency for independent law firms. Participated in NGO JEN in 2003. Engaged in healthcare support for Iraq war refugees. Earned a master's degree in international development and humanitarian assistance from Oxford University in the UK in 2005. Joined the United Nations World Food Program (WFP) in 2006. Since 2007, at the same Laos office, he has led a school lunch program that supports children and their families who are deprived of educational opportunities due to poverty. In 2011, he was in charge of measuring the effectiveness of humanitarian aid at the Italian headquarters, and later in charge of budgeting for the entire organization. After working at the Cairo Middle East Regional Office in 2017, he served as a regional monitoring advisor at the Johannesburg South Africa Regional Office, and has been at the forefront of humanitarian assistance as a UN employee for over 10 years.
