Born on December 11, 1960 in Tsuzawa, Oyabe City, Toyama Prefecture. After graduating from Toyama Prefectural Fukuno High School, he entered Waseda University's School of Social Sciences in 1981. While attending school, he was active in the ``Waseda University Oral Society'' and won the Outstanding Oratory Award at the All-Japan Student Oral Society in 1981. Completed the master's program at the Waseda University Graduate School of Political Science in 1985 (majoring in "Party Politics"). After that, he went to Australia to study Australian politics. He returned to Japan in 1988 and became a secret agent of Representative Yoshiro Mori, training in politics at the Diet, the Liberal Democratic Party headquarters, the former Abe faction secretariat, etc. In 1999, he was elected as a member of the Toyama Prefectural Assembly, and since then he has been elected for three consecutive terms.
