Career
Born in Nara on April 28, 1960, raised in Osaka. Faculty of Education, Waseda University. Founded the NGO Peace Boat when he was a student and engaged in private diplomacy with 60 countries around the world. In 1996, he was elected head of the House of Lords in the election. We will work to pass the NPO Law through legislation by members of the Diet, as well as enact laws such as the Disaster Victims' Livelihood Reconstruction Support Law, the Information Disclosure Law, and the Child Prostitution and Pornography Prohibition Law. In 2009, she served as Deputy Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (in charge of transport, transportation, tourism, and crisis management), in 2011 as Special Advisor to the Prime Minister in charge of disaster volunteers, and in 2017 as the first female National Affairs Committee Chairperson (main opposition party). Served as a member of the House of Representatives for seven terms. 2022 House of Councilors election, elected leader through nationwide proportional representation 〇 Former Acting Representative of the Democratic Party of Japan, Leader of the Opposition Party on the Budget Committee of the House of Linguists, etc. 〇Currently appointed Chief of the Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Commission, Director of the Party's Gender Equality Promotion Headquarters 〇Main works: “Can a girl become prime minister?
