Born on December 21, 1960 in Takasago City, Hyogo Prefecture. After graduating from Hyogo Prefectural Kakogawa Higashi High School, he entered Kobe University's Faculty of Economics in March 1985. 〇Joined Kansai Electric Power Co., Inc. in 1981, became general secretary of the Kansai Electric Power Labor Union Headquarters in 1997, secretary general of the National Electric Power Industry Labor Union Confederation in 2011, and deputy chairman of the National Electric Power Industry Labor Union Confederation in 2017. 2020 Advisor to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare Labor Insurance Examination Committee 〇In the July 2013 regular election for the House of Councilors, elected from the Democratic Party proportional representation district.
