Career
Born on March 23, 1960 in former Omiya City, Saitama Prefecture (currently Omiya Ward, Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture)
〇Graduated from Omiya Higashi Elementary School, Omiya Higashi Junior High School, Chuo University High School, and Chuo University Faculty of Commerce.
After working as an office worker, he served as a secretary in charge of policy for a member of the House of Representatives for a long time. During that time, he participated in the formation of the Shinshin Party and the Democratic Party, and served as deputy director of the Democratic Party Executive Office, chairman of the party secretariat, and secretary general of the House of Councilors Secretariat Council.
〇In April 2007, he was elected as the head of the Saitama City Council election. Since then, he has won three consecutive terms.
〇 Participated in the formation of the Ritsu-en Democratic Party in 2017, and in 2018, established the Ritsu-en Democratic Party Saitama Prefectural Union with Member of the House of Representatives Yukio Edano and assumed the post of chief of the party.
〇As a member of the Saitama City Council, I will work tirelessly to prevent child abuse and combat child poverty, with the idea of "Children first! Everything is for the children!" as the starting point of my activities.
〇In July 2019, elected as leader in the House of Councilors election (Chosen Ward, Saitama Prefecture)
〇Currently appointed Chairman of the Liberal Arts, Education and Science Committee, and Acting Representative of Saitama Prefectural Democratic Party of Japan
