○In 1992, joined the National Telecommunications Union Central Headquarters (currently NTT Labor Union). In 1994, he was seconded to the Asia-Pacific Regional Office of the International Liberal Federation of Labor (Singapore). In 1996, he was appointed as chief of the international department and director of international affairs at Zendentsu Central Headquarters. Since 2001, he has been working at the International Labor Organization (ILO) International Training Center (based in Italy). ○In 2010, he ran as a proportional representative candidate in the 22nd House of Councilors election and was elected.
