Born on August 13, 1965 in Kofu City, Yamanashi Prefecture. After graduating from Yamanashi Prefectural Kofu Nishi High School in March 1980, he entered the postal department of Totsuka Post Office, Kanagawa Prefecture. Transferred to Kofu Central Post Office, Yamanashi Prefecture in March 1986. Recognizing the importance of union activities through labor-management negotiations, etc., he focused on negotiations as a branch executive committee member. In July 1996, he took the lead in union activities as a full-time officer of the Kanto region. JP Labor Union was formed in October 2007. Became a member of the Central Executive Committee and held the positions of Director of Public Relations, Director of Working Conditions, Director of Political Affairs, and Deputy Director of the Planning Bureau. In 2015, he became the head of the Southern Kanto District Committee. Deputy Central Executive Committee Chairman in 2017. In the same year, he became a candidate for a member of the JP union organization and was elected as leader in the House of Councilors election in July 2019.
