〇In 2010, he became a standing member of the Fukushima Prefecture Committee of the Japanese Communist Party.
〇 Worked as a candidate in the 2010 and 2013 Sansanin Fukushima Ward and Wurenin elections.
〇In response to the Great East Japan Earthquake and the TEPCO Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant accident that occurred on March 11, 2011, he worked on relief activities for victims as the head of the Japan Communist Party Fukushima Prefecture Committee Disaster Relief Headquarters. He was elected leader in the 2016 House of Councilors election. We will not tolerate any bargaining or termination of compensation for the victims of the nuclear power plant accident, and we have consistently urged them to ``fulfill their responsibility to rebuild their lives and livelihoods.'' Efforts will be made to immediately eliminate nuclear power generation and switch to renewable energy that coexists with the local community.
