- Advocating the ``Ehime Party,'' we created individual supporter groups in every city and town in the prefecture, and conducted grassroots elections as a ``completely independent'' party that did not receive any official recommendation from any political party or organization. The Liberal Democratic Party is the first opposition party to win consecutive House of Councilors elections. He originally traveled all over Ehime Prefecture for 18 years on the local TV station's Sunday afternoon regional rediscovery program ``Mogitate TV.'' Convinced that there are resources in the region, he entered the Diet as a member of the House of Representatives in the 2009 general election. Although he worked hard to establish a scholarship system that does not require repayment, he lost his seat midway through his ambitions due to the reconstruction budget for the Great East Japan Earthquake, and has placed emphasis on improving education as an investment for the future, investing in local small and medium-sized businesses, and investing in people's lives.
