Born on May 9, 1970 in Kawazoe-cho, Saga Prefecture. After attending Prefectural Saga Nishi High School, he entered Keio University's Faculty of Law, Department of Political Science, in 1996. Joined Mitsubishi Estate Co., Ltd. in the same year. Elected as chief in the 2005 Uranin general election (Saga 1st ward). Chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party Saga Prefecture Branch Federation in 2009. In 2010, he was elected to the House of Councilors regular election in the selected ward of Saga Prefecture. Chief of the Administrative Oversight Committee in 2011. Chairman of the Health, Labor and Welfare Division of the Liberal Democratic Party in 2012. In 2013, served as a political official for the Minister of State and Reconstruction. In 2015, he became Vice Minister of Uchiafu.
