Born in Kumamoto Prefecture on November 30, 1960. Graduated from Kumamoto Prefectural Kumamoto Technical High School in 1988, and completed the Kumamoto Prefectural Industrial Development Youth Corps Training Center in 1988.

〇In 1997, elected Kumamoto Prefectural Assembly member for five consecutive terms.
