Born on June 12, 1970 in Niigata City, Niigata Prefecture. Niigata Prefectural Niigata High School, Department of Economics, Faculty of Economics, University of Tokyo. Joined current Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance Co., Ltd. in April 1997. Left the company in March 2005. April 2005: Appointed deputy chief priest of Asahi Kannon Fudanji Temple. On April 30, 2007, he was elected as a member of the Niigata Prefectural Assembly (Akiba Ward, Niigata City), and since then he has been elected for four consecutive terms. In the Liberal Democratic Party Niigata Prefecture Federation, he served as the political affairs research chairman and worked hard to enact ordinances proposed by members, such as the Niigata Prefecture Ordinance on Measures against Bullying.
