Born on January 8, 1950 in Hachioji City, Tokyo
〇After attending Tokyo Metropolitan National High School, entered Kyoto University Faculty of Law in March 1981.
〇After graduating from university, he entered Matsushita School of Government and Management as a second-year student. Receiving direct instruction from Konosuke Matsushita
〇In 1985, he was elected as a member of the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly and served for two terms. 1993 Elected as the head of the House of Representatives
〇In 1999, he was elected mayor of Suginami Ward, Tokyo, and served for three terms for 11 years until 2010. During that time, he worked on reforming Suginami Ward and achieved significant financial soundness. A number of policies were implemented, including the establishment of the ward's own teacher training institution, Suginami Normal Hall, and the ``Tax Reduction Local Government Initiative''.
〇 Run for second term in the 2012 general election for House of Parliament members. Questions at the Budget Committee served as a breakthrough in debunking the media's misinformation on the comfort women issue.
