Career
Born November 11, 1957 in Kyoto. Faculty of Economics, University of Tokyo. He retired from the Ministry of Finance in 2010 after joining the Ministry of Finance, studying abroad in West Germany, serving as Director of the Tax Department Sumoto, Director of the Osaka Regional Taxation Bureau Inspection Department, Planning Officer of the Minister's Secretariat, Ministry of Finance, Professor at Tokyo Medical and Dental University, Director of the Customs Bureau Administration Division of the Ministry of Finance, Director of the Japan Postal Savings Insurance Corporation, and Director of the Financial Reconstruction Department of the Deposit Insurance Corporation. In 2012, he was elected as a member of the Western House, served as a director of the Western House Committee, and served as acting party chairman for the next generation. After that, as a visiting professor at the University of Tokyo Graduate School, he researched cybersecurity, founded the Digital Identity Promotion Consortium, spread information technology, and engaged in dissemination activities on the Matsuda Policy Research Institute's YouTube channel, while developing policy proposals and awareness-raising activities in a wide range of fields such as politics, economics and finance, medicine, and blockchain. Participated in the creation of a political party and will serve as the party's representative for one year from July 2022.
