Born in Sendai City in 1956. After attending Sendai Daiichi High School, he entered Tokyo Medical and Dental University School of Medicine in 1985. Graduate School of Medicine, Tohoku University in 1993. After working as a member of the First Department of Internal Medicine at Tohoku University Hospital and at the National Sanatorium Iwate Hospital, in 1996, became the second Chief Department of Internal Medicine at the same hospital.

〇 Drafted and submitted a bill related to facilitation of regional finance and two bills to combat sick house syndrome, and compiled a dental care reform plan.
