Career

Born in Osaka City in 1950. After attending Imafuku Municipal Elementary School, Hohan Junior High School, and Prefectural Otemae High School, he entered Kyoto University's Faculty of Letters, Department of Philosophy. Japan Broadcasting Corporation employee. Master's program at Stanford University. In 1991, he went to France as a specialist researcher at the Japanese government's delegation to the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). In charge of the Science, Technology and Industry Bureau, Information and Communication Policy Committee, etc. Returned to Japan in 1998. 5th term in the Osaka Prefectural Assembly since 1999.
