Career

Born on January 1, 1960 in Sapporo, Hokkaido. Dropped out of Fuji Women's High School and the Department of Law, Faculty of Law, Hosei University. While still in school, he worked as an incident reporter at a key station in Tokyo. Later, she moved her base of activities to Hokkaido and continues to raise issues, especially those surrounding women and children. As a member of the House of Councilors, he is involved in activities such as support for recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake, nuclear power policy, and support for evacuees.He has also consistently focused on promoting the agriculture, forestry and fisheries industry, as well as addressing damage caused by birds and animals and global warming issues. He has also expanded his range of activities to include measures for the elderly, such as nursing care, and the realization of a multicultural society for foreigners, and has been involved in drafting the party's ``Basic Law for a Multicultural Society.''
